Scholarship Description
The five IMD MBA Alumni Scholarships are designed to encourage diversity in the class, with each awarded to a different region: Asia, Africa/Middle East, Latin America, Eastern Europe and Western Europe/North America/Oceania.
Eligibility
Candidates who have already applied to the full-time IMD MBA program and who are citizens, but not necessarily current residents, of the above-mentioned geographical areas.
Eligible groups
Prospective students from Asia, Africa/Middle East, Latin America, Eastern Europe and Western Europe/North America/Oceania.

Five (5) will be given - one from each area as mentioned above
Scholarship benefits
Award value is CHF 30,000
Method of Application
If you are interested in applying, follow these steps:
1) Acceptance into the IMD MBA Program
2) Submit an essay. Please draw on your own experiences in your answer, rather than on general, broad statements. The committee is looking for essays that are personal, visionary and demonstrate leadership, which include a clearly articulated description of how the solution could be implemented.
Applicants are also required to submit an MBA Financial Aid Application Form.
To apply for IMD admission, and also to download the current Essay Template, MBA Financial Aid Application Form and other detailed information, you need to visit the official web site (link to it found below).
DEADLINES:
Before applying for the scholarship, you must have applied for admissions using the MBA online application form by any of the following application deadlines: February 1, April 1, June 1, August 1 and September 1 every year.
The deadline for scholarship applications is 30 September every year
Please note:
Essay topic to write on is: “Which issue do you believe is the highest priority to address in your region / country? Why would you choose this issue? How would you, as a business leader, personally address it?” (maximum 1000 words).
