The Vicky Noon Educational Foundation offers scholarships for Pakistani students in the UK. Scholarships are awarded for full time graduate and undergraduate studies in all available subjects at Oxford University in the field of Natural, Applied and Social Sciences at Cambridge University. The size and duration of awards vary according to each scholar's circumstance. Candidates who have previously studied outside of Pakistan will not normally be considered. Applicants must be planning toreturn to Pakistan after completing their studies.

Eligibility:
-Applicants should be Pakistani nationals ordinarily resident in Pakistan. Candidates whohave previously studied outside of Pakistan will not normally be considered. Applicants must be planning to return to Pakistan after completing their studies.
-For Oxford University: Applicants should be applying to start a new course at Oxford. Please ensure that you meet the requirements for entry to your course. This scholarship is notopen to candidates applying for Postgraduate Certificate or Postgraduate Diploma courses, part-time courses,non-matriculated courses or to students with deferred entry.

Scholarship Open for International Students: The students of Pakistan can apply for these scholarships.

Scholarship Description: The Vicky Noon Educational Foundation established in 1992 by Lady Viqarunnissa Noon to support scholarsfrom Pakistan to study at leading universities in the United Kingdom. The scholarships at Oxford and Cambridge University are funded by the Foundation, the University and a number of generous partners.

Duration of award(s): The duration of awards vary according to each scholar's circumstance.

What does it cover? The size and duration of awards vary according to each scholar's circumstance. In recent years these have ranged from partial awards (e.g. £3000) to fully funded scholarships (all fees and living costs). Awards are made for the full duration ofa student's fee liability for the agreed course. If your scholarship is offered for a course lasting more than one year, the continuation of your scholarship each year is subject to an annual renewal process based upon satisfactory academic progress.
-Cambridge University's value Variable.
Selection Criteria: Awards are made based on the following key criteria:
-Academic merit
-Financial need
-The potential social contribution made by the applicant on their return to Pakistan

Notification: Award applications are considered by July each year at the Annual General Meeting of the Trustees and candidates will be notified of the decisions shortly thereafter.

How to Apply: There is no special form for applying for the Noon scholarship. Please indicate in the relevant funding sections if youwould like to be considered for a Noon scholarship. The completed application for acceptance to the University and the funding or scholarship application forms should be submitted to the relevant Admissions Office. At the University of Oxford the International Office is responsible for administering the University's scholarship and bursary schemes for international students.

Scholarship Application Deadline: The closing date for undergraduate admissions is 15th October, prior to the year in which the student wishes to commence study at Oxford University and Cambridge University.
Graduate: for Oxford University- In order to be considered for this scholarship, you must submit your application for graduate study by the relevant January deadline for your course (10 January 2014 for Medical Sciences, Philosophy, Politics & International Relations and Computer Science; 24 January 2014 for allother subjects). For Cambridge University-Students wishing to start a research degree in October must submit CIGAS Form A and all thesupporting documents by 31 March. In some Faculties, research students may also be admitted in January and April; in which case applications should be made six to twelve months in advance of your intended date of admission. Closing dates set by the Faculty as stipulated in the Prospectus.
